"I realize the importance of being a role model, but what’s important is the people you surround yourself with. I started Rising Stars to allow kids to be the leaders and examples for the future. Without the kids I couldn’t be who I am."
PROGRAMS
RISING STARS OF AMERICA was founded and designed to provide youth with programs that will help them develop skills to enhance the quality of their lives both on and off the court. These programs have helped them become focused players and students, setting them on course for success throughout their lives. Our current programs include Traveling AAU Club Teams, Basketball Camp, Tournaments, and Bridging Communities. As resources become available, Rising Stars has identified additional academic support, mentoring and healthy eating/healthy living as the next programs to implement.
