Baron’s commitment to the community and giving back is reflected in work he accomplished as a member of the Governing Board of LA’s Best, a program he participated in while in elementary school. LA’s Best provides programming and a safe haven during critical after school hours at 180 elementary schools at no cost to parents.

Additionally, recognizing his good fortune to have been educated in the US, Baron has become Ambassador in the Darfur Sister School Project. He will coordinate with teammates and local area schools to raise funds to improve the educational experience for children in Darfur refugee camps.

Baron has inspired many young people with his passion and commitment to being the best he can be, both on and off the court, to giving back to those who reached out to him, and to insuring that future generations of young people in local communities and around the world have every opportunity to be the best they can be.
